On May 12th, 2023, our head office in Spruce Grove threw open its doors for one of the most exciting Open House events our company has ever seen! From revved-up garden tractors to finger-lickin' BBQ, thrilling auctions, and a whole bunch of awesome attractions, our day was packed with non-stop excitement.
Redneck Races
We added a splash of redneck flair to our Open House this year with the first annual Redneck Races. These suped-up garden tractors and cooler carts competed in an epic dust-slinging, tire-squealing battle. It was a perfect blend of horsepower and redneck ingenuity!

Crossfire BBQ Cookoff
Smokin' Hot Showdown! The second annual Crossfire BBQ Cookoff brought together ten fierce teams, all battling it out for the prestigious Crossfire cup.
These culinary wizards had one mission: to cook up finger-lickin' St. Louis Style ribs and irresistible chicken lollipops for our esteemed panel of judges. The air was filled with tantalizing aromas, and the competition was as fierce as the flames on the grill. In the end, the title of BBQ champions went to the dynamic father and son duo, Ry and Ty BBQ. They truly wowed the judges with their mouthwatering creations. Hats off to these grill masters!
Charitable Auction
Bidding for a Good Cause! We didn't just want to have a blast; we wanted to make a positive impact too. That's why we held both a silent and live charity auction, all in support of CommunityAim—a fantastic charity from Spruce Grove that assists citizens with disabilities across central Alberta. With the one and only auctioneer extraordinaire, Danny Hooper, at the helm, the bidding frenzy was off the charts! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our vendors and attendees, we raised a staggering $79,465.08!! We couldn't be more grateful for the everyones big-heartedness.

So Much More
But hold on, there's even more! Our Open House was brimming things to do and enjoy. With a Scoop-N-Roll ice cream truck serving up unique treats, cowpoke testing their mettle on the untamed mechanical bull, and a fantastic vendor tradeshow highlighting the finest offerings from some of Cross Country Canada's top vendors. And let's not overlook our customized bar trailer, private-labelled beer (courtesy of RavenWolf Brewing), cornhole games, equipment displays, and the awe-inspiring TUT utility truck stealing the spotlight. It was a grand day of entertainment, laughter, and good times.
